Installment Portal Service


  • Installment payment plan services are offered by phone and at select Public Tag Agent (PTA) locations.

    For installment plan enrollment, please call (225) 925-6146 and select option 3. The OMV call center is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:20 p.m.

Terms of Service

  • This portal was designed to allow new customers to complete an installment plan contract and for existing customers, who are in an active plan, to update their information.

    New customers, after receiving instructions from an OMV call center agent, will be required to create an account in this portal prior to completing the installment plan process. The user ID, password and answers to security question used to create the account should be kept in a secure location.

    Existing customers may use this service to update personal information, payment type, view prior processed payments, print receipts, make additional payments or to pay the installment plan in full. Any additional online payments made through this portal will not prevent scheduled payments from being withdrawn on the 10th of each month unless the additional payment made was sufficient to pay the installment plan in full. Existing customers who have forgotten their password may click “forgot password” and follow the instructions provided.

    If your plan is suspended or you are not currently in a plan, then you will not be able to access this portal.
